Although Rosenbarger bagged up a hefty amount of chips on Day 1b, he was nowhere near Day 1a's chip leader Sebastien Drolet-Poitras, as he bagged up a massive 270,800 and will remain as the overall leader.

On Day 1a, 215 entries tallied on the board. Day 1b saw an increase with 308 more entries into the field, putting to two-day total over 500. With Sunday's Day 1c still to play out, one can expect the overall field size to see a lot of growth.

Of those who thrived on Day 1b were notables Luc Greenwood (195,100), Chris Dombrowski (183,300), and Grayson Ramage (179,500). Along with Rosenbarger, they will all be taking plenty of chips into Day 2 and can enjoy the day off on Sunday, but there are plenty other familiar faces who failed to advance.

Some of those that were eliminated on Day 1b included Matt Glantz, Matt Giannetti, Maria Ho, Vinny Pahuja, Noah Schwartz, Danny Suied, Christian Harder, Aaron Massey, and Ebony Kenney.

Kenney, who is coming off a 10th-place finish at the recently-completed WPT Caribbean won by Tony Dunst, busted in the final level of the day.

According to the WPT live updates, the blinds were at 500/1,000/100 in Level 10 when Kenney opened with a raise to 3,100. Behind her, Jerry Wong reraised to 7,500, and action folded back to Kenney. She moved all in for approximately 16,000, and Wong called. Kenney had the J?10? to go up against Wong's Q?Q?. Following the 10?9?7?K?2? board, Kenney was eliminated and left to try her luck again on Sunday.
