According to the PokerStars Blog, the first final-table elimination came in Level 17 (80,000/160,000/20,000) when Davidi Kitai moved all in preflop from middle position for his last 680,000 and Daniel Colman called from the button.

Daniel Colman

Colman: Q?J?
Kitai: K?8?

The 9?K?10? flop was gin for Colman as he flopped a straight, and the 6? turn left Kitai drawing dead. The meaningless 9? was put out on the river for good measure and Kitai exited in eighth place for $312,091.

Colman was the next to go when he ran A?K? into the A?A? of ODwyer, and he took home $373,932 for his seventh-place finish. That marked his eighth six-figure score of 2014. Not too shabby considering he only has 11 cashes on the year.

After Kitson Kho bowed out in sixth place, Joseph Cheong followed him out the door in fifth. Cheong began the day as chip leader, but he fell when he shoved his stack all in holding the A?J? and failed to get there against the 5?5? of Pratyush Buddiga. Cheong took home $528,663 for his fifth-place finish.

Connor Drinan, the man who infamous lost aces to aces in this years Big One for One Drop, was felled by ODwyer in fourth place, which gave him a career-high $657,605 score. A few minutes later, Buddiga joined him on the rail when his K?2? failed to overcome the K?7? of ODwyer after the board ran out 9?6?3?A?5?.

That left ODwyer holding a more than 2-1 lead over Ryan Fee entering heads-up play, but itd take him the better part of two hours to seal the deal. In the final hand of the tournament, the blinds were 300,000/600,000/50,000 when Fee opened for 1.3 million and ODwyer called. The Q?9?7? flop saw ODwyer check-call a bet of 1.6 million and then check-called one of 4 million on the 3? turn.

When the 5? completed the board on the river, ODwyer checked for a third time and then hit the tank when Fee moved all in for 10 million. Eventually he called with the Q?8? for an eight-high flush, and it was good as Fee was bluffing with the 6?5?. Fee, who finished second in the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $100K Super High Roller back in September, took home $1,282,975 for his runner-up finish.

The ACOP continues with the HK$100,000 Main Event on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. local time. PokerNews will be providing live updates from that event, so be sure to check back throughout the week for daily recaps.
