The summer in Las Vegas just got a bit hotter.

From June 27 through July 4, 2015, ARIA Resort & Casino is planned to play host to the 2015 Super High Roller Series. Among the events will be a monster $500,000 buy-in tournament deemed the Super High Roller Bowl.

According to the event's website, an estimated prize pool of $25 million can be expected, and there are 31 potential players listed as participants. Among that group are plenty of big names, including Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, Phil Galfond, Tom Dwan, Dan Colman, Jean-Robert Bellande, and Isaac Haxton.

Looking at the schedule, there will be three events stretching across the anticipated dates. The Super High Roller Celebrity Shootout will take place June 27-28, there will be the Super High Roller Cash Game from June 30 to July 1, and then the featured Super High Roller Bowl will run July 2-4.

Everyone knows that Las Vegas is the place to be for poker every summer. With the World Series of Poker taking place May 27 through July 14, this event will come right in the thick of it all. With the $111,111 High Roller for ONE DROP and $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller taking place June 28-29 and June 29-July 2, respectively, at the WSOP, you can bet that every big buy-in player in the game will be in Sin City. That certainly increases the chances that this half-million-dollar event will flourish.

The event falls in line with ARIA's new initiative in hosting one-off, big buy-in events. In 2014, ARIA held a $100,000 Super High Roller that took place July 10-11. That event attracted 30 entries and was won by Ole Schemion to the tune of $1.062 million. Haxton (2nd - $813,394), Colman (3rd - $796,821), and Daniel Cates (4th - $297,000) also finished in the money. Throughout the rest of the year, one more $100,000 event and three $50,000 events were held. Those tournaments had an average field size of over 26 entries and an average first-place prize of nearly $820,000. This shows that there is clearly an interest for these events to be held in Las Vegas.

Furthermore, the event is holding a contest that could see you win "the ultimate high roller vacation for you and a friend." According to the contest's webpage, the winner will be awarded hotel and airfare to the event, front row seats for viewing, and $5,000 in spending cash.
