Season 4 of the Hollywood Poker Open is rolling along with HPO St. Louis, one of the premier Regionals on the tour.

Things kicked off on March 10, and this past weekend saw the first big event of the series wrap up when Brian Tracy, a St. Louis native, won a $300 deepstack event for $29,267. That event featured three starting flights and also awarded Tracy a seat into the $2,500 Season Championship at M Resort in Las Vegas.

The best is still yet to come though, as Friday, March 18 will mark the beginning of the $1,115 Regional Main Event. The Main Event features two Day 1 flights, starting at 11:15 a.m. Friday and the same time Saturday morning. The tournament boasts a very slow structure 50-minute levels on Day 1 and one-hour levels on Day 2 and a big starting stack with 20,000 in chips and blinds of 50/100 in Level 1. Players may reenter as many times as they wish until the start of Level 9 (400/800/75).

In addition the the $150,000 guaranteed prize money, the HPO will be adding a $2,500 Season Championship seat to the prize pool for the Regional Main Event winner.

As with all HPO Regional Main Events, PokerNews will be on hand to provide live reporting, featuring hand history, chip counts, and photos. In the most recent one, which took place at HPO Toledo, Michael Ermie topped a record-setting field of 323 to earn $60,017 as part of a three-way chop.

Note that in addition to the Main Event, there's also another $300 deepstack that kicks off Thursday with 11:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. starting flights. That prize pool will also feature an added $2,500 Season Championship seat. Check out the full schedule with structures here.
