��1M Guaranteed WPT500 UK Kicks Off Oct. 27
The first live Day 1 of the 2016 WPT500 UK kicks off at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham on Oct. 27, and to get the ��1 million guaranteed tournament off to the best start, Dusk Till Dawn is running a special promotion.
Although there is an online Day 1 at partypoker, costing $665 to enter at 9:00 p.m. on Oct. 26, the first live Day 1s at Dusk Till Dawn begins at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 27.
These live Day 1s cost ��550 to enter. However, they have added value because whoever finishes as the chip leader at the end of this pair of starting flights is awarded a ��2,200 seat to the ��1 million guaranteed WPT UK Main Event running in November.

This marks the third consecutive year that a WPT500 event has run at Dusk Till Dawn, and if the previous editions are anything to go by, players are in for a treat.
In 2014, Eleanor Gudger walked away with ��140,000 after topping a field of 2,133 entrants that included Welshman Richard Harris and winning the 2015 WPT500 for ��150,000 after the tournament overlaid by ��114,000.
The WPT UK Festival has ��3 million guaranteed over three marquee events. The WPT500, inaugural Devilfish Cup and the WPT UK Main Event each have prize pools of ��1 million guaranteed, while other tournaments such as the ��250,000 guaranteed Deepstack, the partypoker MILLONS, and the ��10,000 guaranteed Ladies Event (Oct. 29) mean there is big money to be won in Nottingham as October draws to a close.
