The highlight of the festival with 12.5 million guaranteed prize pools saw a total of 1,014 entries emerge throughout four starting days. Eight no-shows boosted the field to 1,022 entries.

Action of the final day
The day started with thirteen players remaining and Adrian Mateos was the shortest coming back. He scored an early double up on the outer table while Neil Ryder was unable to do so on the feature table and became the first casualty. Despite doubling up, Mateos got short again and his ace-jack suited found no help against the pocket queens of Ondrej Drozd. Mateos was sent to the rail in twelfth place for 40,000.

Yoann Vu-Van picked up plenty of outs with seven-six suited against the pocket aces of Pavel Plesuv, but the Frenchman failed to get there and bowed out in eleventh place.

Gianluca Speranza then lost most of his stack against the pocket aces of Viktor Blom and had to settle for the tenth place soon after. When the remaining nine hopefuls combined to one table, several double ups followed but Yiannis Liperis eventually saw his aces cracked by the pocket kings of Plesuv to set up the official eight-handed final table.

Niko Wieland's queen-jack ended up second-best to the pocket aces of Viktor Blom and Ondrej Drozd took a commanding lead when he looked through the bluff of Aristeidis Moschonas to reduce the field to the last seven.

However, the fortune of the Czech all but changed the very next hand when a triple barrel bluff with ten-high went wrong against Pavel Plesuv, and Drozd eventually had to settle for sixth place.

In a battle of the short stacks, Radoslaw Wesierski called the shove of Rickie Silcock with ace-nine of spades and faced the jack-four of diamonds of the partypoker online qualifier. Two diamonds on the flop and a third diamond on the river sealed the fate for the Pole, who had just over $9,000 in cashes prior to this event.

Joao Simao
Three Final Tables and more than 640,000 in cashes for partypoker ambassador Joao Simao in Rozvadov

Simao racked up more than 640,000 in cashes during the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany.

Joao Simao endured a roller coaster ride throughout the final day and eventually had to settle for fourth place. In the final hand, his jack-nine suited found no help against the ace-eight of Viktor Blom. Earlier this partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany, Simao had topped his career-best score with a second place in the first 25,500 Super High Roller (251,250) and followed that up with another strong showing in the second edition in which he finished fourth (110,000). Simao ended up in the very same place in the Main Event; his 280,000 score saw him rack up more than 640,000 in cashes during the festival at the King's Casino.

Half an hour later, the heads-up duel was set after the elimination of Rockie Silcock. The Brit turned trips fours only for Pavel Plesuv to river a wheel. Silcock had qualified for the event in a $109 satellite on partypoker and turned that into a payday of an astonishing 400,000, his British rail was cheering him on for the duration of the final table.

Feature Table Heads Up

Blom and Plesuv cut a deal to secure 750,000 each and play for the trophy, bragging rights, and additional 100,000 to the winner.

The fireworks started soon after. Plesuv doubled into a commanding lead when flopping a queen-high straight with Blom holding top set, and the Moldovan established a 9-1 lead. However, Blom fought back and doubled three times in total to even out the stacks once more.

Blom shook his head, looked at the board again, and then decided to call with second-pair and no kicker.

The final hand of the tournament was a special one. Blom opened king-six off, and Plesuv called with queen-seven suited. Plesuv check-called a bet with second pair on queen-nine-king with two hearts and one diamons. The ace of diamonds on the turn gave Plesuv a flush draw, and he check-called a bet again. The river came the five of hearts, making for three hearts on the table. Plesuv, stuck with what was now third pair and a missed flush draw, shoved as a bluff. Blom considered all his options, shook his head, looked at the board again, counted his chips, tanked, and then decided to call with second-pair and no kicker.

The chip stacks needed to be verified and once they were counted, the tournament was determined to be over. Plesuv finished in 2nd place for 750,000 and shook Blom's hand to congratulate him.
