The World Series of Poker Circuit Returns to Playground

The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Playground for an exciting series of events from August 18 to September 2. This year��s edition boasts seven events and $4,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools.

The players are sure to come out in droves on the hunt for the highly coveted circuit rings and the tremendous value offered by this series. This will be one of the most accessible Circuit events to date, thanks to the wide range of buy-in price points, multitude of satellites to the Main Event, and numerous online starting flights on partypoker; players have never had more ways to get in on the action!

WSOPC Playground Colossus

The first event of the series, the $300 + $30 Colossus, is one of the most accessible and value-laden tournaments to be found anywhere in the world. With a modest buy-in, players can take as many shots as they want at the $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. There are nine live starting flights as well as four online Day 1s on partypoker, and all of them allow for unlimited re-entries. Players can enter multiple Day 1s to bring forward the largest possible stack to Day 2; if they qualify more than once, then the largest stack will be used for Day 2 and all other stacks will be forfeited for a minimum cash.

The $1,100 Main Event offers another opportunity at exceptional value and will be introducing an innovative way for online players to participate. Thanks to partypoker��s trailblazing approach, players will be able to play an online flight for the Main Event that combines Days 1 and 2 so qualifying players will arrive at Playground with a minimum cash already secured.

Satellites to the combined online flight will be running in the lead up to the event so check your partypoker client for all the details. There are also many ways to participate once the live starting flights begin. It starts with three live Day 1s that allow players a single re-entry at any point in the flight. From there, players will be funneled into one of two Day 2 flights that also permit one entry and re-entry per flight during the first two levels of play. Players may enter multiple Day 1s; if they are fortunate enough to advance multiple qualifying stacks, then the largest stack will be used to start Day 2. Players will be able to play their way into the Main Event at a discount through one (or more) of the six $110 + $10 unlimited re-entry satellites that guarantee a total of 170 seats to this event.

The third event in the series is another perennially popular branded event, the $600 + $60 Monster Stack. This one provides players with huge starting stacks and brings back traditional poker with a freezeout format. As a two-day tournament with a prize pool guarantee of $150,000, it is sure to bring a monstrous turnout.

A Super High Roller, High Roller, Closer, and PLO

The biggest buy-in of the series arrives with Event #4, the $5,000 + $300 Super High Roller. With a matching starting stack and prize pool guarantee of 250,000 in chips and $250,000, this two-day event provides an attractive structure that features 45-minute levels, 8-handed play, and unlimited re-entries.

The $2,000 + $200 High Roller will arrive on the heels of the Main Event and Super High Roller to provide players another four-figure buy-in option. This unlimited re-entry event will play out over the course of three days and also guarantees a prize pool of $250,000.

The late stages of the festival deliver yet another multi-day tournament with the $300 + $30 Closer. The Closer features four starting flights, and it is sure to lead to some wild action with its unlimited re-entry format and $300,000 prize pool guarantee.

The final day of the WSOP-C Playground will see champions crowned in the Main Event, Closer, and High Roller, but it also has another event in store, the $500 + $50 Pot Limit Omaha. This single-day tournament guarantees a prize pool of $50,000 and is sure to bring with it some wild four-card action.
