PokerStars Release Side Bets

Last month, PokerNews brought you the news that PokerStars had begun testing Poker Side Bets for use on its real-money clients, and today PokerStars have announced that they are now available.

Using the client, players can now bet on a variety of outcomes such as the next dealt hole cards being a pair of aces, or ace face card suited, or that the flop will bring a pair, trips or a flush i.e. all three flop cards are the same suit.

This can be experienced on all Hold'em tables, excluding Zoom, on PokerStars.

PokerStars Unveil Poker Side Bets

How to use Poker Side Bets

Taking advantage of this exciting new feature at PokerStars is relatively easy. All players need to do is sit down at a Hold'em table, and place their bets using the 'Side Bets' window displayed in the bottom left.

All bets are taken from a player's main PokerStars wallet and not from the chips they hold on the poker table.

According to PokerStars, Poker Side Bets is now available at .com, .eu, .uk, .ruso and .net versions of the client.

This is just another addition to the online client announced by PokerStars. They previously announced the All In Cash Out function last year, which allows cash game players to cash in their equity when they are all in instead of playing out the remainder of the hand.

Exciting New Poker Features

There has been a spate of exciting new poker features across all poker clients lately, with players now able to stake other players in online tournaments, compete in weekly cash game leaderboards, or complete special challenges to win prizes and satellite tickets.
