2021 NJ/MI SCOOP Days 10 & 11: Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari Wins Super Tuesday 101
Final Hand

Through 36 events (108 tournaments total) in the NJSCOOP, a combined 18,293 combined entrants have competed and $874,327.94 in prize money awarded.

On Tuesday night, Sridhar "sri100k" Sangannagari topped a field of 125 in the NJSCOOP Event #36-H: $200 NLHE [Super Tuesday], $17.5K Gtd, earning $5,096 for his dominating performance.

Sangannagari was one of the few dozen to have been a part of the action right away in Level 1. He was knocked out once during the late registration period, Shortly after registration closed, he found a double when his queen-nine got there against the ace-jack of eventual fifth-place finisher "TrashNinja00".

He took that momentum through the bursting of the bubble, and then saw queen-nine treat him right once more after he three-bet it from the big blind and double-barreled on a king-nine-four-deuce board into the king-ten of Steven "FadeOrHoldz" Madara. A nine on the river gave Sangannagari trips and put him atop the leader board, where he stayed the remainder of the tournament.

6thekidraf04$1,297
7Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro$987
8IGOTCRABZ_33$751
9Renorick1946$571

After Frank "thewholefunk" Funaro eliminated "Q8kicksass" and Dan "AvaGray" Lupo was felted by Sangannagari in quick succession to bring about the final table, "Renorick1946" entered play under one big blind and was eliminated on the first hand. Shortly thereafter, Sangannagari surpassed 1 million in chips, at which point he held more than one-third of the chips in play with eight still remaining.

The short-stacked "IGOTCRABZ_33" then bowed out in eighth before Sangannagari got back to work, winning a huge coin flip with ace-king against the pocket fours of Funaro for a pot of 750K and then extending his chip lead even further by knocking out "thekidraf04" in sixth. "thekidraf04" was second in chips at the time and got stacks in on an ace-high board with ace-king against Sangannagari's ace-jack after it flopped top two pair.

A level later, "TrashNinja00" busted in fifth and "Batzz88" fell to runner-up "Jeebus459" just a couple of hands later to bring about three-handed play, which continued for a full level before "Jeebus459" knocked out Benji "OtB_RedHeron" Felson in third place after Felson's ace-king lost a coin flip against pocket jacks. From there, Sangannagari took roughly a three-to-two chip lead into heads-up play and never looked back. In less than a level, he ground "Jeebus459" down, taking a chunk of their chips before flopping a flush and getting the rest of it against top pair, top kicker.

"iConvert13" Wins MISCOOP-26-H: $300 NLHE Super Tuesday

MISCOOP 26
Final Hand

Through 26 events (78 tournaments total) in the MISCOOP, a combined 29,679 combined entrants have competed and $1,433,683.15 in prize money awarded.

"iConvert13" spent his Tuesday making a statement in the PokerStars Michigan Spring Championship of Online Poker, as they took down the title of SCOOP champion in Event #26: $300 NLHE (Super Tuesday SE), $40K Gtd for $11,630.98 after besting a field of 213 entrants.

It took three bullets to get one that stuck for "iConvert13", and they didn't really make their presence felt until just before the bubble burst. They managed to burst the final table bubble with the elimination of "Exponent1" in tenth, and took a strong chip lead to the final table.

From there, they stayed near or at the top of the counts at the final table, ultimately denying a chop from "Blunce" and taking the SCOOP title outright.

"GrndChalengChmp" got off to a strong start of the day as one of the early chip leaders, but that momentum left them one spot shy of a cash as they finished in 32nd place, busting at the same time as "CitizenPker". With a smaller chip stack, "GrndChalengChmp" left empty-handed, while "CitizenPker" took home a $625.49 payday for finishing in 31st.

From there, the final table came swiftly, and some of those who took some cash with them include "Corgasm231" (11th - $976.98), "Joe-E-guns" (15th - $842.03), and Henry "xlzou1990" Zou (24th - $725.73).

"flopping air" was the first to fall at the final table, running ace-jack into aces in two separate hands a short time apart to bust. After "Owens18853" and "Po$ter Nutbag" fell in eighth and seventh, "PLAYIN_4_STAXX", who already holds one 2021 MISCOOP title in Event 14-H: $50 NLHE [Rebuy], $15K Gtd, lost a flip to "Hail-6404" to bust in sixth.

"SVSU2021" and the aforementioned "Hail-6404" were next to go, and "Blunce" began discussing a deal with the remaining two players. The deal never went through, and "barry20sanders" bowed out in third. One more small discussion of a deal took place, but never came to fruition, and "Blunce" ran into the aces of "iConvert13" to fall in second.

PokerNews returns Wednesday for coverage of MISCOOP-27-H: $1,000 NLHE (6-Max, High Roller), $50k Gtd, so be sure to tune in for all the action kicking off at 8 p.m. EST!
