* Following a four-way deal

The final day began with 109 in seats, but a flurry of early bust-outs began, with the money bubble not reached until 72 players. Such names as Gholamreza Mozaffari-Torshizi, Danito Salvatore Carlucci and Thissa De Silva all failed to cash. Arron Fletcher had dominated his Day 1a flight and he burst the bubble in record time, hardly a pause between hand-for-hand being announced and Ronnie Blank becoming the unlucky Bubble Boy.

Fletcher opened to 18,000 from the hijack position, and Blank elected to call and leave himself 50,000 chips behind from the big blind. The flop of {A-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} saw both men check, but on the {J-Hearts} turn, Blank moved all-in.

"I'm sorry." said Fletcher, tabling {4-Spades}{2-Spades}. Blank wasn't drawing dead, having flopped a set with pocket threes. The river {K-Hearts} ended Blank's chances, however, and put the field in the money.

Yimin Yang took over the mantle that seemed to exist silently among the players all day C as soon as one player started dominating the play, another hero stepped forward to push for the lead. He busted three players when his flush draw on the flop ousted pocket aces and Farhan Khans {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Chaz Chattha missed out on the latter stages when his short-stack shove with {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs} ran into Thomas Pedersens {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and his friend and fellow professional Steve Watts followed him out of the door shortly after losing a 1.3m chip pot with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} losing to {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} having been all-in pre-flop.

A four-way all-in brought about our final table when Arron Fletcher shoved his eight big blind stack into the middle with {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and was called by Artan Dedusha in the cut-off before Paul Whyman called all-in for four big blinds with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. But Graham Hawkes sensationally moved all-in for 1.6m with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} before Dedusha called all of them with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} which held.

The final table started with Dedusha marginally ahead of the field:

Seat 6Neil Barron2,040,000
Seat 7Michael Benson770,000
Seat 8Jose Luis Lopez1,060,000
Seat 9Michael Harb1,195,000

Michael Benson was first to leave the party at the final table when he moved all-in for 770,000 with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and was called by Michael Harb in the next seat with {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Harb couldnt catch up, and Vitalli Seman followed him out of the door soon after when his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} lost out to Jose Luis Lopezs {10-Spades}{9-Spades} on a dramatic {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board.

Michael Harb would depart in 7th when his last 920,000 went into the middle pre-flop with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}, but Harb was dominated by James Mitchells {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and departed after a {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board. Jose Luis Lopez then made final all-in move with {K-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Longbo Mi called it off with {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in the big blind. The run-out of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} saw Lopez out in sixth place.

Artan Dedusha departed in 5th place when his {A-Spades}{10-Spades} doubled up an all-in and at risk Neil Barron, before Dedusha, down to just eight big blinds, called two big blinds off to a raise against two players in Longbo Mi and Svetlin Ivanov and on {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, got his stack of 1.12m into the middle with {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} . He was called by Ivanov alone with {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that held through the {3-Hearts} turn and {10-Spades} river to send Dedusha home.

After some discussion between the remaining four players, the following ICM deal was agreed:

PlayerAmount
Neil Barron15,405
Svetlin Ivanov14,440
Longbo Mi13,860
James Mitchell13,295

An additional 2,000 would be awarded to the winner and 1,000 to the runner-up.

Neil Barron was first to bust post-deal when his all-in move with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} four-handed ran into James Mitchells {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and the board of {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} saw Barron crash out. Longbo Mi moved all-in from the big blind when Svetlin Ivanov made a large raise pre-flop from the small blind, and Ivanov called it off quickly with {6-Spades}{4-Spades}. He was behind Mis {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}, but overtook him on the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} board.

We were heads-up, and the duel was over almost as it began when James Mitchell moved all-in over the top of Ivanov's opening 400,000 bet and Ivanov called it off.

James Mitchell: {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Svetlin Ivanov: {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board of {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} saw Ivanov's ten kicker play, and the Bulgarian had the best tournament result of his career to date!

All the final nine received a 880 ticket to the London Live Main Event ticket and we cant wait to see how they get on. Coverage starts on Tuesday afternoon right here on Pokernews!

James Mitchell has finished our valiant runner-up here in East London as Svetlin Ivanov has become champion of the Opening Event of the 888Poker London Live Festival!

The last hand was almost immediate as heads-up lasted only a couple of hands. Mitchell moved all-in over the top of Ivanov's opening 400,000 bet and Ivanov called it off.

James Mitchell: {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Svetlin Ivanov: {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board of {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} saw Ivanov's ten kicker play and he took the title and 16,440. James Mitchell wins 14,295 after the four-handed deal saw all four of the final players bank a great amount for a 220-entry tournament. All nine final table received an 880 ticket to this week's 888Poker London Live Main Event, too!

Artan Dedusha
Artan Dedusha

Artan Dedusha was only chip leader at the final table a short while ago, but he misses out on four-handed play after two hands did for his tournament.

First, Dedusha opened to 400,000 from the cut-off and called off Neil Barron's all-in from the big blind for 2.66m. Barron held {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and declared that he's "never behind, always ahead". He was this time, anyway, as Dedusha turned over {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and could not spike an ace across the {7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} board.

Finally, Dedusha was short, down to just eight big blinds. He called two of those to see a flop against two players in Longbo Mi and Svetlin Ivanov and on {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, got his stack of 1.12m into the middle with {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} . He was called by Ivanov alone with {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and that held through the {3-Hearts} turn and {10-Spades} river to send Dedusha home.
