Quinn Do Eliminated in 3rd place ($153,384)

Quinn Do - 3rd Place
Quinn Do - 3rd Place
Nam Le folded his button, Quinn Do limped from the small blind and Andrew Scott bumped it up an additional 25,000 from the big blind. Do then limp-raised another 70,000 on top. Scott took a sip of coffee followed by a few swigs of water as he contemplated the decision. Do had only left himself 62,000 behind as Scott started with a barrage of probing questions to his opponent. Do remained motionless, leaving Scott to cut down his chips before eventually declaring he was all in. Do made the call.

Do: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Scott: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs} giving Scott no assistance. That is, until the {A-Diamonds} peeled off on the turn, giving Scott a miracle three-outer for the lead.

Needing the ten of spades, Do had only one card to help him survive, but instead the {K-Diamonds} peeled off, giving Scott the hand and eliminating Do in 3rd place for $153,384.

Scott Showing Signs of Life

With the elimination of Charles Chua, Andrew Scott has suddenly come alive, winning each of the last three pots. Most recently, he raised to 30,000 after Quinn Do completed the small blind. Do made the call to a {K-Spades} {A-Clubs} {J-Spades} flop, but went no further after Scott made it 40,000 to go on the flop.

Charles Chua Eliminated in 4th Place ($115,384)

Charles Chua - 4th Place
Charles Chua - 4th Place
Nam Le raised to 29,000 from under the gun and Charles Chua announced a reraise making it 100,000 to go from the small blind. Andrew Scott folded his big blind, before Le quickly moved all in. Chua made the call.

Chua: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Le: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board fell {3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and we finally lose one of our final four. An incredible effort this week by Charles Chua, to follow up his 2nd place finish in the Main Event with a 4th place finish today in the High Rollers event for $115,384.

Charles in Charge

Just as the final table was starting to become hypnotic for a lack of action, two players wound up all in. Charles "the Chuck Truck" Chua opened the betting by raising to 29,000. Nam Le reraised, causing Chua to quickly push all in. Le called just as quickly and the hands were opened.

Le: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Chua: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

Chua was once again at risk of elimination, but as he has several other times today, he staved it off when the board came nine-high, {4-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {9-Spades} {5-Clubs} {6-Clubs}. That pot doubled Chua up to 352,000 and brought Le back closer to the pack at about 500,000.

Le Keeps Chua In Line

Charles Chua raised to 28,000 from the button, Andrew Scott folded his small blind before Nam Le announced a raise of an additional 82,000 from the big blind. Chua has been very aggressive since the last break, and Le decided to make a stand. Chua let his hand go as Le extends his chip lead.

Another Double-Up

The short stacks tonight do not know the meaning of the phrase, "Go home." They are refusing to surrender, often getting their chips in good. Quinn Do got his 110,000 chips in good against Charles Chua, with {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} against Chua's {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}. The board provided some intrigue by the turn, coming {9-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}, but Chua couldn't find a chop card or the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Instead it bricked out the {2-Clubs} allowing Quinn to double up to 220,000.

King-High is Good Enough for Le

After getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar earlier, Charles Chua may be a little more gun-shy about making big bluffs. He raised the button 28,000 and was called by Nam Le out of the big blind. Both players checked all the way on a board of {6-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, with Le tabling {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} for the winner at showdown.
