Powell down to one third of his starting stack

Julian Powell raised to 700 after one limper. The big blind, Phillip Kober, and the limper called. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}

and Kober checked to the preflop limper. He fired 1,000 before Powell raised to 3,000. Kober made the call as did the limper.

The turn brought the {J-Diamonds}

. Action checked to Powell and he fired 5,500. Both his opponents made the call.

The river was the {9-Clubs}

and Kober was first to act. He fired 8,000. Powell went into the tank after the player in middle position folded. A player eventually called the clock on Powell. Within the allotted minute, Powell made the call.

After Powell called, Kober tabled his powerhouse with the {K-Diamonds}
