Alan Burr started the day extremely short. He made his move under the gun, shipping in his last 9,000. The next player to act flat called, and Burr knew that wasn't a good sign. When action got to Aaron Benton, he called as well. "Good luck," Benton told Burr. "We're not all in, and generally the saying goes, 'all in must win.'"
The flop came , and both players checked. Same thing after the
turn. After the
on the river, the early position player bet 14,000, and Benton folded. Burr showed that his
had missed everything, while his opponent's pocket nines had rivered a set. Guess the saying didn't apply this time.
