Wright Doubles Through Sim

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Well Jae Kyung Sim has finally lost a big all in pot, and it only took his opponent having the stone cold nuts to do it. Kim started the action by raising to 20,000 from under the gun, and Anthony Wright made the call next to act. The two went heads up to a flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Kim c-bet to 32,000. Wright made the call, and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Kim set Wright all in, and Wright beat him into the pot.

Sim: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Wright: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Sim had flopped top pair, but it was no good, as Wright had flopped the nut flush. The meaningless river was the {j-Diamonds}, and after that hand, Wright doubled to 475,000, while Sim dropped to 1.2 million.

Karlsson Finds His Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Magnus Karlsson has only played one hand since the beginning of the final table. His patience payed off, after he moved all in for his last 115,000 in chips from under the gun. Jim Collopy asked for a count, before folding his hand, as the action folded around to Daniel Spence in the big blind.

"If you got it you call," said Karlsson. "We still be friends."

Spence smiled and made the call, as both players tabled their cards.

Karlsson: {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Spence: {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

Board: {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Karlsson received a great flop, and an even better turn, finding a much needed double to keep himself alive in the tournament.

The Rising Sim

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The hand started with Jim Collopy opening to 20,000 from the button, as Jae Kyung Sim and Anthony Wright called from the blinds. The flop came {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{K-Spades} and all three decided to check as the {A-Hearts} fell on the turn. The blinds checked over to Collopy, who threw out a bet of 36,000 in chips. Sim thought for a minute, before sliding out a raise to 96,000. Wright quickly folded, as did Collopy, leaving Sim to add more chips to his already monstrous stack.

Bawod Hyunshik Yun Eliminated in 6th Place (PHP 705,000)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Bawod Hyunshik Yun- 6th Place
Bawod Hyunshik Yun- 6th Place

Make that 4-4 for Jae Kyung Sim. He has just eliminated young Bawod Hyunshik Yun in the biggest pot of the tournament. Action started with Daniel Spence raising to 24,000. It folded around to Sim in the small blind, and he announced raise, and put 94,000 in the middle. Yun was next to act in the big blind, and he went into the tank.

Yun had been very quick and deliberate throughout the tournament, so it was clear he had a tough decision on his hands. Eventually, he moved all in for 400,000, and it back to Spence, who too clearly had a tough decision. He tanked for about 45 seconds before folding, and Sim rechecked his hole cards, before shouting "call!"

Sim: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Yun: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Yun did in fact have a huge hand, but he was in a world of hurt, as he ran into the pocket rockets of Sim. Spence said that he folded pocket queens. The board ran down {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and Sim never had to sweat, busting Yun in sixth, and jumping up to 1.5 million in the process.

Sim Stays Aggressive

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jae Kyung Sim opened the hand with a bet of 20,000 from under the gun, and was called by Daniel Spence on the button and Jim Collopy on the big blind. The flop came {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} as all three players checked. The {K-Hearts} brought a check from Collopy and Sim, as Spence threw out a bet of 35,000. Collopy folded his hand, and Sim called, as the {A-Clubs} completed the board.

Sim again checked his option, and was met with a quick bet of 65,000 in chips from Spence. He went into the tank for a few minutes, and eventually made the call.

Spence laughed, as he tabled {2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a bluff, as Sim showed his {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. The great call from Sim rockets him up to 900,000 in chips, as Spence drops a few more.

Yun Moving Up

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The hand started with Anthony Wright opening to 22,000 from under the gun, before Bawod Hyunshik Yun made the call from the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and Yun checked his option. Wright threw out a continuation bet of 33,000, before being met with a quick raise to 78,000 in chips. Wright snap-called the bet, as the {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Yun counted out a bet of 86,000 and slid it into the middle, as Wright went into the tank.

A minute passed before Wright relinquished his hand, as the dealer pushed the large pot over to Yun.
