Level 3 : 300/600, 75 ante

Greenwood Rolling Ahead

Level 3 : 300/600, 75 ante
Sam Greenwood, pictured at a different event.
Sam Greenwood, pictured at a different event.

Sam Greenwood raised and got a pair of callers, and everyone checked the flop to bring a board of {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Greenwood bet 1,500 and got called by his neighbor, Jan Schwippert on the button. Greenwood bet 1,500 again on the {6-Clubs} river and Schwippert paid it off but couldn't beat {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

The next hand, Koji Fujimoto raised to 1,500 in the small blind and Greenwood defended the big. He called a continuation-bet on the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and then 4,500 more on the {6-Diamonds} turn. The {8-Hearts} river brought a four-straight and a check from Fujimoto. Greenwood bet 9,000 and Fujimoto used his entire allotted time before mucking.

Fujimoto Slips Further

Level 3 : 300/600, 75 ante

It's been a false start for Fujimoto, who lost another two pots to slip below the 30k mark. In the first hand, Fujimoto paid off a 2,000 riverbet from Greenwood on a {9-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board. Greenwood showed {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Fujimoto mucked.

The hand after, Alex Foxen opened to 1,400 first to act, Fujimoto made it 4,000 on the button, Foxen put in 11,000 and announced an inaudible, smaller bet, and Fujimoto folded.

Fujimoto Drops a Pair

Level 3 : 300/600, 75 ante

Koji Fujimoto opened for 1,500 on the button and got called by both blinds. The board read {9-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades} after three checks, and Fujimoto bet 4,000 after another pair of checks. Only big blind Jan Schwippert continued. On the {q-Hearts} river, Schwippert bet 6,500 and Fujimoto folded.

The next hand, Fujimoto opened again and played heads up against big blind Alex Foxen. Foxen checked the {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and Fujimoto bet 2,100. Foxen raised to 5,800 and Fujimoto mucked.

Fujimoto Sits Down

Level 3 : 300/600, 75 ante

Koji Fujimoto has become the fourth player to enter the $50,000 Challenge. After the break, Fujimoto sat down and instantly raised to 1,700 after Alex Foxen limped in for 600. Foxen called and check-called 2,000 on the {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop as well.

The players checked it down on the {Q-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river. Per Aussie Millions rules, the last aggressor Fujimoto had to show first and showed {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Foxen showed {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and took down the hand.

Greenwood Wins Last Hand Before Break

Level 2 : 200/400, 50 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 1,100 on the button and Alex Foxen defended his big blind. Greenwood continued for 700 on the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop and Foxen check-called.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Foxen opted to lead 3,400 and Greenwood called. The river brought the fourth heart with the {Q-Hearts}. Foxen checked, Greenwood bet 6,000 and Foxen scratched his head. He seized up Greenwood, stared at the felt and pondered a call before eventually flinging his hand in the muck.

After the hand, the players went on a 15-minute break.
