The third day of the BetMGM Poker Online Championships wrapped up on Sept. 17 after two major events with Event #3: $500 and Event #4: $250 6-Max PLO in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The day's big winner was Michigan's "NateTheGrape," who took down both events for $10,250 and $6,950, showing he can shine at both No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha.
In Pennsylvania, "OMC Escher" also had a great day that saw them take down PA #3: $500 for $7,354 after a final table deal in an event that drew 48 runners and generated $22,560 in prize money.
"OMC Escher" went on to finish third in PA #4: $250 6-Max PLO for $2,800, while the first-place prize of $5,430 went to "johnny_civ" after a two-handed deal.
In New Jersey, it was "Kozym1" who took down NJ #3: $500 for $10,200, while BetMGM Poker ambassador Darren Elias finished in eighth for $975.
Meanwhile, "MyCousinVinny5" emerged the winner in NJ #4: $250 6-Max PLO for $6,200 in the event that generated $19,298 in prize money to just miss the $20,000 guarantee.
Next up on the BetMGM Poker schedule is Event #5 $2,500 High Roller, which offers guarantees of $100,000 in New Jersey, $75,000 in Michigan and $50,000 in Pennsylvania.

The first day of the inaugural BetMGM Poker Online Championships commenced on Sept. 15 with Event #1: $500 Kick-Off No-Limit Hold'em and saw plenty of action and big winners across New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
In Michigan, "Pollan" took down the Kick-Off event for $14,281. The Kick-Off event in Michigan drew 103 entrants to generate a prize pool of $48,410, smashing the guaranteed $35,000.
"Pollan" defeated heads-up opponent "TwoColorDeck," who in turn took home $8,423, while other players who made deep runs include "FlipWitnEdge" (3rd - $6,051), "LotLyzard" (4th - $4,551) and "ErikBachman" (5th - $3,510).
In New Jersey, BetMGM Poker ambassador Darren Elias took down the Kick-Off event to win the top prize of $12,925, not a bad start to the series for the "End Boss."
In Pennsylvania, meanwhile, it was "Until_Wilted" who emerged victorious to take home the top prize of $10,030.
Next up on the schedule in the BetMGM Poker Online Championship is Event #2: $250 PKO on Sept. 16.
The largest series in BetMGM Poker history takes place this month with over 75 events and $2 million up for grabs for online players in New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The inaugural BetMGM Poker Online Championships, which is set to run Sept. 15-25, includes the $1,000 buy-in Championship in each state, two-day events with guarantees of $250,000 in New Jersey, $200,000 in Michigan, and $150,000 in Pennsylvania. The three Online Championships will take place just a few months after the inaugural BetMGM Poker Championship at ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, where Joey Weissman triumphed through a field of 343 players to win the BetMGM trophy and $224,236.

$2 Million in Prize Money
Just over $2 million in prize money will be up for grabs across the events. Here's how the prize money guarantee breaks down by state:
New Jersey: $750,000 Michigan: $650,000 Pennsylvania: $500,000
Buy-ins throughout the series start as low as $100 and climb up to $2,500, including events such as the $2,500 High Roller, the $1,000 PLO High Roller and, of course, the $1,000 Championship, which will close out the series on Sept. 25.
Other highlights of the schedule include the $500 NLHE Kickoff on Sept. 15, the $500 NLHE 7-Max PKO event on Sept. 19, and the $500 NLHE 8-Max Championship Warm-Up event on Sept. 22.
Expect the BetMGM ambassadors to be involved in the action, including Darren Elias in New Jersey, Andrew Neeme in Michigan and Matt Berkey in Pennsylvania, who in March took down the BetMGM PA March Poker Mania Main Event for $31,250.
There will be early bird registration in the events where players registered at the start of the event will get 100% rakeback.
