Alan Wentz
Alan Wentz

Alan Wentz has pulled into the chip lead with 200,000. After the break, he felted two players and has been "running good".

Back in June of this year, Wentz took down the $300 Seniors event at the Planet Hollywood Goliath Phamous Poker Series, earning $8,647 for beating the field of 121 entrants. That score pushed his lifetime earnings past $480,000.

Another Mike Sica Memorial Seniors Champion in Play

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Rich Forte
Rich Forte

Two years ago, Rich Forte finished atop an eight-way adjusted payout agreement in this event, taking home his first Borgata Open trophy in the 2017 BPO 4th Annual Mike Sica Memorial Seniors tournament. First place was good for $4,771 and the trophy after the final eight decided to call it quits at about 9pm, after only 11 hours of play.

That event had 108 entrants and the final 18 got paid. Among those cashing out were the previously mentioned Arthur Bressler (12th) and Howard Shuman (11th).

Missing Barry Leventhal

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Barry Leventhal has won the Seniors event here at Borgata a record four times, so it's unusual to not see him in action here today. We know his mother has been ill and as the father of a newborn he's got his hands full. His first child, Hezekiah Leventhal, was born on May 2 of this year.

Hoping that all is well at home and wanted Barry to know we're missing him here at the Borgata Poker Open Seniors event!
