Nikolay Tsanev opened with a small raise to 4,100 under the gun, and action came around the table to David Steicke in position. He stuck in a three-bet to 11,100, and it was back on Tsanev. The Russian looked pained as he shook his head and stared off into space. Eventually, he made another raise to 29,700, and Steicke put in the call.
The flop came out , and Tsanev again looked gutshot. He held his nose with two pinched fingers, his head down and rocking back and forth. He finally looked up and pushed the remaining ~45,000 of his chips into the middle. Steicke shrugged and instantly open-mucked .
His opponent tabled his hand, but only the top was visible. The dealer spread the two cards and revealed the underneath. "Oh, you had aces," said Steicke, sounding not-at-all surprised.
