It looked as though Matt Dale raised from the button and the gentleman in the big blind called; either way they saw a {5-Spades}

flop. Dale attempted to bet 650. "I haven't checked yet," complained his opponent. "Oh I'm sorry," said Dale, removing his earphones, "I thought it was on me. Does that mean I have to check?"

Mr. Big Blind checked and Dale (who did not have to check) bet his 650. Mr. Big Blind now raised, Dale called, and they progressed to the turn.
