Moennig vs. Soshnikov

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Soshnikov, who you may recall as the EPT10 Prague High Roller champ, opened for 26,000 from the cutoff only to have Malte Moennig three-bet to 81,000 from the blind. Soshnikov made the call and then called a bet of 115,000 on the {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop.

Both players proceeded to check the {A-Clubs} turn, and then {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Moennig decided to bet again, this time 235,000, and Soshnikov thought for several minutes before making the call. He no doubt regretted it as Moennig tabled the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a set and the win.
