Some Squeezes Here and There

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Kevin MacPhee received a walk at the very start of the level and showed the {Q-Spades}, now he revealed the {J-Diamonds} when once again all opponents had folded to his big blind.

In between, Mukul Pahuja raised to 55,000 and then folded to a three-bet by Byron Kaverman. Pahuja was at it one hand later again from the cutoff for the same amount and this time Kaverman called on the button. Martin Finger then three-bet to 210,000 and that shut down all further action.

All in and Split Pot

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Soon after the restart, Patrick Uzan raised to 70,000 from the small blind and Dominik Nitsche three-bet big to 280,000 in the big blind. Uzan shoved with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Nitsche snap-called with the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

The flop {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} gave Nitsche some back door outs, but the split pot was guaranteed after the {2-Hearts} on the turn. A meaningless {5-Diamonds} river completed the board and they chopped it up.

Ihar Soika then raised to 50,000 from under the gun and Nitsche's three-bet to 125,000 from the button took down the pot.

[Removed:17] Eliminated in 12th Place (33,200)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

[Removed:17] made it 48,000 and Byron Kaverman three-bet to 135,000. Yan shoved for 550,000 total and Kaverman snap-called with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

Yan had practically the same hand, holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. However, the board ran out {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to make Kaverman a flush.

He's now the big chip leader as Yan takes his bad beat story to the cage to collect 12th-place money.

Dobrovolskiy Regains Composure

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Vladimir Dobrovolskiy raised to 45,000 and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau three-bet to 125,000 from the cutoff to enforce a fold from the Russian, who flashed the {A-Diamonds}.

Soon after, Ihar Soika opened to 40,000 and Patrick Uzan three-bet to 105,000 from the button. Dobrovolskiy four-bet to 220,000 and that took the pot without further resistance.

Ezequiel Kleinman Eliminated in 13th Place (33,200)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Ezequiel Kleinman
Ezequiel Kleinman

The stack of Ezequiel Kleinman had been whittled down all the way to 160,000 and he moved all in from early position. From two seats over, Martin Finger announced all in himself and that got the rest of the table to fold their cards.

Kleinman: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Finger: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {8-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop was no good for the Argentinian and he was drawing to fives and aces only on the {7-Spades} turn. The {4-Spades} river was of no help and Kleinman headed to the rail in 13th place for 33,200.

"No Bluff, my Friend"

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 50,000 from the cutoff and Patrick Uzan called. They checked down the board {7-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts} entirely and Uzan showed the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Vaskaboinikau, seemingly frustrated, smashed the {Q-Hearts} to the middle of the table.

In the next hand, Vladimir Dobrovolskiy raised to 45,000 from under the gun and Vaskaboinikau moved all in for 276,000. Dobrovolskiy folded and Vaskaboinikau said with his heavy accent "no bluff, my friend," flipping over the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

Yan Can Call

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

[Removed:17] limped the small blind and Mukul Pahuja shoved the big.

Yan called all in for 343,000 and his tournament life with {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Pahuja held {10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, but stayed behind on the {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} run out.

Clutching a plush cat it looks like he's owned since he was a child, Yan managed to double up.
