Assorted Counts

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Rui Neves Ferreira and Linus Loeliger busted, the latter re-entered before the break.

In the last hand of the level, Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 12,000 and Matthias Eibinger three-bet to 28,000. Vaskaboinikau called and the flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The Belorussian checked and folded to a bet of 28,000 by Eibinger, flashing ace-queen.

"Maybe I need to push preflop. You call?" Vaskaboinikau asked and Eibinger nodded.

Doubles for Sontheimer and Hajiyev

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer was all in and at risk preflop for 73,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Ryan Riess looked him up with the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. The board came {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Sontheimer paired his nine on the flop.

Pocket sevens also played a role in the next all in showdown, as Timothy Adams held the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Ramin Hajiyev was all in for 78,500 with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and the {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop gave him a flush with outs to a straight flush. The {Q-Clubs} turn and {6-Diamonds} river changed nothing anymore.

Benjamin Pollak came back from a short stack and more than tripled up.

Chin Wei Misses Draw to Exit

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop was down {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and Lim Chin Wei was in the big blind and up against Jean-Noel Thorel who was playing from the cutoff. Wei got his 60,000 stack into the middle and Thorel was happy to call.

Lim Chin Wei: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Thorel had a pair of tens, but Wei had a lot of outs with a flush draw and gutshot straight draw. The turn {3-Diamonds} gave Wei no new hope, and the {8-Spades} river sealed his elimination fate, as Thorel collected the pot.

Mateos Eliminates Badziakouski

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Adrian Mateos raised all in for around 45,000 and the action folded to Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind, who was sat with around 30,000. Badziakouski was visibly unsure of his decision but opted to call after thinking for 30 seconds.

Adrian Mateos: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Mikita Badziakouski: {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Board: {7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Badzaikouski was behind preflop and went even further behind on the flop when Mateos hit top pair. The king on the turn gave him some hope but the river was another ace to give Mateos trips, and the pot as the 100,000 Super High Roller champion Badzaikouski departed.

Winter Doubles; Schwippert and Leow Chop

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ivan Leow limped in and Jan-Eric Schwippert raised to 26,000 on the button, which Leow called from the under-the-gun position. On the {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Leow check-called a bet of 17,500 and did so again for 60,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. The {K-Diamonds} on the river was checked and Leow showed {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, Schwippert sighed and chopped it up with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

Nick Petrangelo stacked Sean Winter when he got it in preflop with the {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against Winter's {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the board came {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Petrangelo soon after got his last 17,500 in from the button with {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Benjamin Pollak called with {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} in the big blind. The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Spades} to give Petrangelo trips.

Chan Wai Leong busted and re-entered, which increased the number of re-entries to 12 thus far.

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Thomas Muehloecker opened the action with a raise to 8,500 and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet all in for the last 22,000.

"Did you just register?" Jack Salter in the cutoff asked over to Muehloecker, who replied he had started the hand with 93,000. Salter four-bet to 34,000 and Muehloecker gave it some thought before moving all in, Salter snap-called.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Jack Salter: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and Salter scored the double knockout. Kisacikoglu almost immediately re-entered to get back into contention with 25 big blinds.

Nolan Spikes a Queen to Double

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The completed board was down {8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, and Dean Nolan's stack was being counted. Nolan had {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} in front of him for a set and was receiving a full double up courtesy of Timothy Adams.

It was an unfortunate situation for Adams however as he held {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

Nolan stacked his new chips and is now playing with 232,000, and Adams was left with 160,000.
