While the last 32 players of the Main Event are getting closer and closer to the title, another prestigious tournament of the festival is about to start with the �10,300 EPT High Roller at the 2023 European Poker Tour (EPT) at Casino Barcelona.

Last year, out of a field of 530 runners, Portugal's Rui Ferreira took down this tournament for �767,750 after a three-handed deal ahead of Stefan Schillhabel and Laszlo Molnar. So who'll win this year? The answer will be known after the three days of competition.

Day 1 will start at 12:30 local time. Players will have a starting stack of 50,000 chips at the beginning of the day, which will begin with blinds 100/200 and a big blind ante of 200. Then, they'll try to have more than that at the end of Level 10, as ten 60-minute levels will be played on Day 1. Only two entries are allowed, and late registrations will close at the start of Day 2.

Shot clocks will be implemented from the start of the event, with each player receiving four time banks worth 30 seconds. Also players seated at the first hand of every odd level will received an extra time bank.
