Bigot and Delaney Battle to a Chop

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot called from the small blind wtih {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} before Brian Delaney raised to 750,000 from the big blind with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Big responded with a three-bet to 1,800,000 and Delaney leaned forward and used a time bank.

After a few moments of thought, Delaney just called to see a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}. Bigot checked the flop and Delaney checked back.

The turn was {8-Hearts} and Bigot checked once again. Delaney fired 1,200,000 and Bigot called.

A {10-Clubs} fell on the river to chop the pot, but Bigot shoved 3,300,000 anyways. Delaney spread out his time bank cards and leaned forward to make sense of it. After asking for a count, Delaney talked out his options and then finally called to take his half of the chopped pot.

Small Pots to Bigot and Delaney

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot opened the action with a raise to 400,000 on the button with the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. It folded to Peter Jorgne in the big blind, who came along with {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to result in a {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. Jorgne missed entirely to check while Bigot held the top pair and nut flush draw, which he bet for 500,000.

No further action took place as Jorgne folded a couple of seconds later.

Brian Delaney then raised to 425,000 on the button with {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Razvan Belea defended the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} from the big blind. No betting action took place on the {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and {6-Spades} turn, which led to the {j-Clubs} on the river. Belea checked once more and folded when Delaney eventually bet 900,000.

Delaney checked and then called when Belea bet 350,000.

The turn was {9-Diamonds} and Delaney checked. Belea checked back and the river was {3-Hearts}.

Last Pot Before the Break to Bigot

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Fabrice Bigot
Fabrice Bigot

Fabrice Bigot limped the small blind with the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Brian Delaney checked the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} in the big blind. The {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop gave Bigot the top two pair and he min-bet for 150,000, Delaney called with his bottom pair.

That led them to the {a-Spades} turn on which Bigot bet 250,000 for one third of the pot, picking up a curious call by Delaney once more. Last but not least, the {j-Clubs} river completed the board and both players checked.

Bigot won the pot with two pair and the final four then headed into a scheduled 20-minute break. The next level will continue with a duration of 90 minutes before it then gets reduced to 60 minutes if four contenders remain or 45 minutes if three or fewer players still have chips at their disposal.

Delaney Doubles Through Jorgne

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Brian Delaney - Peter Jorgne
Brian Delaney - Peter Jorgne

Brian Delaney opened the action as the first player to act with a raise to 325,000 and Peter Jorgne on the button three-bet to 1,000,000. It folded all the way back to Delaney, who counted his stack carefully and invested a time bank extension for it.

The Brit then four-bet to 1,750,000 with 3,425,000 behind and that sent Jorgne into the think tank as his 30-second shot clock expired.

Shortly after, Jorgne moved all-in and Delaney snap-called as Jorgne was instantly frustrated upon being shown the bad news.

Brian Delaney: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Peter Jorgne: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and {a-Clubs} turn brought no help to Jorgne, who also missed out on the {k-Clubs} river as Delaney further improved to a full house and put a dent into the larger stack of the Swede.

Delaney Gets a Shove Through

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot raised to 300,000 with the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} on the button for Brian Delaney to three-bet shove for 4,575,000 in the small blind holding the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. "In the big blind against you, I am calling," Bigot told his opponent after he folded.

Peter Jorgne then limped the small blind with the {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Razvan Belea checked the {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to hit a pair on the {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. Jorgne checked and Belea bet 150,000, picking up a call by the Swede.

That brought them to the {q-Diamonds} turn, on which both players checked. The same applied for the {7-Hearts} river and Belea won the pot with the bottom pair.

Belea Forces Out Bigot With a Check-Raise

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Brian Delaney opened to 625,000 from under the gun with the {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Razvan Belea just flat-called with the {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} in the small blind. Fabrice Bigot three-bet to 950,000 in the big blind with {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and that got rid of the initial raiser, while Belea stuck around with his pair.

The heads-up flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} provided a "raisers board" as Belea checked, and Bigot continued with a bet of 500,000 for fewer than one quarter of the pot. Belea then check-raised to 2,500,000 and Bigot snap-folded.

Jorgne Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot raised to 325,000 on the button with the {9-Spades}{6-Spades} and Peter Jorgne defended the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Jorgne a gutshot and flush draw once more. Both players opted to check to the {k-Hearts} turn and Jorgne now checked again, Bigot knuckled it back.

The {k-Spades} fell on the river and Jorgne bet 450,000 to win the pot right there.

Jorgne Flushes and Takes With River Bet

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Peter Jorgne raised to 325,000 from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Brian Delaney called with {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} from the big blind.

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Jorgne bet 250,000. Delaney raised to 975,000 and Jorgne called to see {3-Clubs} on the turn.

Delaney fired 2,225,000 on the turn and Jorgne called with the flush draw.

The river was {a-Diamonds} and Delaney checked. Jorgne bet 2,500,000 and Delaney took another look at his cards before he tossed them in the muck to give up the pot.
