Dennis Stemmler defended out of the big blind and then jammed it in after the Q?J?5? flop to reveal the 10?9? for the open-ended straight draw. Aristide Cochin had two of those outs blocked with the K?K? and the overpair stayed ahead on the 9? turn as well as 2? river.
Stemmler was barely gone when David Docherty arrived to take the vacated seat.
