Huge Pot for Shehadeh

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Fares Shehadeh
Fares Shehadeh

Fares Shehadeh raised to 800 from the middle position and Dan Olin called in the hijack. Komil Khamidov three-bet to 3,500 from the cutoff and was called by Terence Jordan in the small blind. Shehadeh and Olin also called.

The flop came {6-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}, everyone checked to Khamidov who continued with a bet of 5,500 which was called by all.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}, Jordan checked again. Shehadeh bet 14,500, Olin folded and Khamidov responded with a shove. Jordan asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Khamidov had 23,000 behind. Jordan took a few seconds and then decided to make the call. Shehadeh decided to shove too for 28,000 more and Jordan put in the chips for the call.

"I have nothing," Khamidov admitted before showing he held {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high.

Shehadeh held {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for the overpair.

Jordan tabled {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the gutshots to a straight.

"You're live!" Matteo Parlato commented.

The river completed the board with the {j-Hearts} to keep Shehadeh ahead. Khamidov was sent away from the tournament area and Jordan was left with around 7,000.
