Its time for Day 2 of the 2019 Canterbury Park Fall Classic $2,500 High Roller.

Eight players are set to return for Day 2 action after 14 levels of play on yesterdays Day 1, which drew 28 total entries. Jon Hanner (204,000) enters the day as chip leader, well ahead of his next closest competitors in Vic Peppe (135,000), Joseph Beasy (120,000), and Ian Matakis (119,500). However, his stack is only four times that of the shortest stack coming into the day, meaning everybody is well in contention.

That shortest stack is Kou Vang (51,000), who will enter the day with just under 13 big blinds when play resumes at Level 15 (2,000/4,000/4,000). Vang spent much of Day 1 on the short stack and hopes to is still a formidable opponent, with over $1.6 million in lifetime earnings.

The remaining players to enter the day with below-average stacks are also nobody at which to balk, with Jeff Petronack (57,000), Blake Bohn (71,500), and Daniel Schmidtknecht (84,000) rounding out the lineup.

All players still have work to do, though, as only three places will be paid. The third-place finisher is set to earn $12,897, with the runner up receiving $19,345. The eventual champion will take home $32,242 and a Fall Classic trophy.

Cards are in the air at 12:30 p.m. local time, with play set to continue until a champion has been crowned. PokerNews will be covering the final table action as well as Day 1a of the Main Event, which starts at noon local time, with a primary focus on the High Roller until its completion. Keep it here and dont miss a beat.
