Petrangelo and O'Dwyer Ousted

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Just as the tournament went hand-for-hand to prevent any further stalling, there were all-ins at both of the tables. Nick Petrangelo was all in for around 150,000 with {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and was up against Justin Bonomo with {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The board ran out {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Bonomo claimed the pot with a pair of eights.

At the other table, it was Steve O'Dwyer at risk holding {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} only to be dominated by Igor Kurganov's {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} giving both players top pair but Kurganov held the better kicker. The {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing and O'Dwyer followed Petrangelo out the door.

Chidwick Turns Two Pair

Level 15 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

There was 185,000 in the middle already when the board read {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Nick Petrangelo checked in the big blind and Stephen Chidwick bet 120,000 from the cutoff. Petrangelo glanced at the board, took a few seconds, and then made the call.

The river completed the board with the {9-Spades}. Petrangelo checked again. Chidwick now bet 300,000, leaving 5,000 behind, Petrangelo tanked, using his last time bank card. After asking the dealer if his hand would be dead if the shot clock ran out and getting the confirmation that that would indeed be the case, Petrangelo called. Chidwick tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the turned two pair and Petrangelo quickly mucked his hand.

Bonomo Shoves on Chidwick

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick raised to 40,000 on the button and Justin Bonomo called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

Bonomo led out for 75,000 and Chidwick called to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Bonomo announced all in, putting Chidwick to the test for his last 500,000 chips but he wasted little time before folding.

Dvoress Done and Dusted

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The pot contained 50,000 already and the flop read {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and both Daniel Dvoress and Igor Kurganov checked in the blinds.

The turn brought them the {7-Clubs}, Dvoress check-called the 30,000 continuation-bet of Kurganov.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs}, Dvoress checked for the last time and now Kurganov bet 75,000 which sent Dvoress into the tank. After using two time bank cards, Dvoress called and mucked as soon as Kurganov tabled {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Dvoress was left with 100,000 which equaled 5 big blinds and lost those a few hands later to Steve O'Dwyer.

Everything for Bonomo

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Bryn Kenney shipped all in for his last 200,000 plus on his left. The action folded back to Bonomo who called and tabled {a-Spades}{9-Spades}.

We didn't catch Kenney's cards but it didn't matter too much when the board ran out {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}. Bonomo flopped trip aces and then improved to a flush on the river to eliminate Kenney.

Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Alex Foxen raised to 32,000 from under the gun and was called by Talal Shakerchi in the cutoff and Timothy Adams in the big blind..

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and they all checked through to see the {4-Spades} on the turn. Adams checked and Foxen now bet 40,000 which both Shakerchi and Adams called.

The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds}, Adams checked for the last time. Foxen bet 172,000, Shakerchi insta-called and so did Adams for the 97,000 he had behind.

Adams tabled {7-Clubs}{5-Spades} for the turned straight, Shakerchi showed he had {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for the rivered two pair while Foxen held {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the overpair. Adams would triple up and Shakerchi would win 75,000 from the 172,000 bet of Foxen.

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Igor Kurganov defended from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Kurganov checked to Vogelsang who continued for 32,000. Kurganov check-raised all in and Vogelsang called off his stack of 270,000.

Igor Kurganov: {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
