Cary Katz Eliminated in 6th Place ($120,000)

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 30,000 ante
Cary Katz - 6th Place
Cary Katz - 6th Place

Erik Seidel raised to 100,000 from the button holding the {q-Spades}{3-Spades} and Cary Katz, who had just over 200,000, just called from the big blind with the {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

When the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Katz moved all in and Seidel called with his pair of threes. Neither the {6-Diamonds} turn nor {5-Diamonds} river helped Katz and he was sent to the rail in sixth place.

Tricky Play with Aces By Bryn Kenney

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jake Schindler raised to 80,000 from the small blind with the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Bryn Kenney just flatted with the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} in the big blind.

The {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop brought the case ace, and Schindler bet 60,000 with top pair. Kenney called and the {6-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Schindler check-called a bet of 155,000 and then checked for a second time on the {Q-Hearts} river. Kenney bet 435,000, leaving himself 25,000 back, and Schindler hit the tank before making the call and losing more than half his stack.

Bryn Kenney Doubles Through Doug Polk

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Bryn Kenney got his stack of 285,000 all in preflop and was called by Doug Polk.

Polk: {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Kenney: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

It was a flip, and Polk picked up a gutshot straight draw on the {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. However, he'd fail to find any more help as the {3-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river gave Kenney the double.

Erik Seidel Extends Chip Lead

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 60,000 under the gun holding the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Cary Katz flatted from the cutoff with {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Doug Polk came along from the big blind with the {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and three players saw a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, which gave Seidel a full house.

Polk checked, as did Seidel, and Katz bet 125,000 with his two pair. Polk folded, Seidel called, and the dealer burned and turned the {2-Clubs}.

Seidel checked again and then called when Katz bet 150,000. Both players then checked the {3-Spades} river and Seidel tabled his full boat.

Bryn Kenney Doubles Through Cary Katz

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In the very next hand after losing with pocket queens, Bryn Kenney open-jammed for 200,000 under the gun and Cary Katz wound up calling him from the small blind.

Kenney: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Katz: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Kenney needed a little help and he got it on the {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop. Neither the {4-Clubs} turn nor {8-Hearts} river helped Katz and he sent some chips over to Kenney.

Erik Seidel Triples Into the Chip Lead

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Bryn Kenney looked down at the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and raised to 60,000 from the hijack. Doug Polk then popped it to 175,000 holding the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} in the cutoff before Erik Seidel four-bet all in for 480,000 with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} on the button.

Kenney moved all in over the top for 580,000 and Polk called to put both players at risk.

Seidel was out in front, and he held after the board ran out {j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Seidel tripled into the chip lead with 1.5 million while Kenney won the 125,000 side pot.
