Event #15: $500 High Roller 6-Max Championship

Event #15: $500 High Roller 6-Max Championship at the Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker (PACOOP) attracted 194 entries, falling just short of the $100,000 guarantee to give those who entered some extra value.

After almost seven hours of play, "TecmoB0wl" emerged victorious to claim the $19,663 top prize and title of champion. The chipleader heading into the final table of seven, "iamsmirk", was bested in heads-up play and forced to settle for the $14,513 consolation prize.

The prize pool was split amongst the top 29 finishers, each guaranteed at least $988. Once late registration closed 3 hours and 15 minutes into the day, it took less than an hour for the money bubble to burst. "BirdBrain64" was the unfortunate individual to fall one spot shy of the money after "cheten95" rivered a flush.

The pace of play continued to be quick and therefore it did not take long for the final table of seven to be set once "TheSwagWagoon" ran into the ladies of "iamsmirk".

Final Table Action

"TecmoB0wl" entered the final table second in chips and got off to a good start by felting "JustinLett" in seventh place. A few hands later, "iamsmirk" found rockets to send "Vertimax" to the rail in sixth place.

"iamsmirk" continued their hot streak by finding another premium starting hand, pocket queens, to beat out the top-top of "Jdgambler43" and bring the tournament down to four players.

Both "TecmoB0wl" and "iamsmirk" held the vast majority of chips in play and so it was not entirely surprising that both "LetMeWin3437" and "and_porter" were eliminated in fourth and third place respectively in the span of a few hands.

"TecmoB0wl" and "iamsmirk" battled it out for some time but eventually, the former prevailed, getting their money in bad on the turn but hitting an ace on the river to seal the victory.
