Talal Shakerchi has won the 10,000 Mixed Games NLHE/PLO 6-max tournament. Just 4 players entered and Shakerchi faced Steven Uccio heads-up for the title.

In a no-limit hold'em hand the two got their chips in before the flop.

Steven Uccio: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Talal Shakerchi: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

"Show me a king!" Uccio said.

The flop came {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

"Show me a queen!" Uccio continued, "Or a king or an ace."

The {2-Hearts} on the turn and {3-Clubs} on the river were blanks however, and Shakerchi won the pot and with that, the tournament as he had 44,000 to Uccio's 36,000.

Uccio Closing the Gap

Very few showdowns and no big pots of note to tell you about. But, Steven Uccio has won more of the small and medium pots, particularly in the pot-limit Omaha rotation. It all means that Talal Shakerchi's lead has been cut to around 48,000 plays 32,000. Blinds are currently 800/1,600.

Shakerchi Bounces Back

Talal Shakerchi had almost regained parity by the time a bit Pot-limit Omaha pot went down. All the chips went in on a {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop with the players holding the following:

Steven Uccio: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Shakerchi: {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Uccio was a 58% favourite to end the tournament right here but a {7-Clubs} on the turn gave Shakerchi the lead and he held on the {9-Hearts} river. He was all-in for 34,800 so now has over 70,000 of the 80,000 chips in play.

More for Uccio

During a hand of no-limit Hold'em Steven Uccio further strengthened his lead. He opened to 2,000 on the button and Talal Shakerchi called. The British businessmen called further bets of 2,500 and 6,500 on the flop and turn of a {J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board before folding to Uccio's shove on the {6-Diamonds} river.

Uccio showed {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} as he took the pot and now leads with 62,000 to Shakerchi's 18,000.

Uccio in Charge

The blinds have just ticked up to 400/800 (with a 100 ante in the no-limit Hold'em hands) and as the level got underway Steven Uccio has roughly 54,000 while Talal Shakerchi has 26,000. Plenty of play left in this one.

Who Signed Up?

Still just 4 players have signed up for the side event. Three of them we've seen before: Steven Uccio (winner of the first side event), Talal Shakerchi and Dan Fleyshman all played before here in Monaco this week. The fourth player is Daniel Smith, a recreational player from Monaco who won a tournament in Cannes back in 2014 for 88,000.
