Eventuallly though, Daigle was able to finish off Crete when the two were all in. Daigle had ace-four and hit an ace on the flop. Crete had king-ten and couldn't catch up. Daigle booked his second WCC tourament.

The tournament drew 44 players and Daigle outlasted the field to claim the $1,438 prize. This is the second to last day of the World Cup of Cards at Playground Poker Club, with two new events tomorrow and the conclusion of the Quantum No-Limit Hold Em tournament.

With only one day left in the World Cup of Cards, Playground Poker Club offers yet another poker variation. Today's event is Limit Hold em. As with most of the WCC 1-day tournaments, the levels are 20 minutes long. Each player will start with 15,000 and play until there is a winner.

This tournament has a $3,000 Guarantee, but the 1-day events of the WCC have routinely beat their guarantees within a few minutes of the tournament starting.

This is Event #26 of the World Cup of Cards, which has one more day left before the festival finishes up with the finale of the Quantum No-Limit Hold em tournament.
