Jeff Tims Going Strong

Jeff Tims from Houston, Texas is building a solid chip stack. On this particular hand, Tims raises from under the gun to 600 and is called by Rick Drury, a middle position player, and the big blind.

The big blind, Tims, and Drury check on a board of {A-Spades}

and the middle position player bets 2,500. The big blind folds and action is now back on Tims. Tims raises to 6,500 and Drury folds. The middle position player immediately goes all in and is called by Tims.

Tims shows {A-Hearts}

and is behind the other player's {A-Diamonds}

. The dealer turns the {K-Hearts}

and Tims claps his fists together as he takes the lead.

The river brings the {4-Diamonds}

and Tims has eliminated the other player. Tims is now sitting at around 21,000 chips.

Tims made a nice splash earlier at this Harrah's circuit when he took down event #12, a $500 No Limit Hold'em tournament for over $58,000.
