The two biggest stacks in the room, Fielder and Mark Kroon, were seated at the same table and fireworks were bound to happen. Kroon opened the pot with a raise to 6,100 and was called by Fielder and both of the players in the blinds.

Immediately Fielder seemed pained muttering to himself that he should have just checked behind. After some more thought, Fielder decided he had to make the call.

to scoop the nearly 250,000 chip pot. You might want to keep in mind that this single pot was bigger than all but a couple of stacks that advanced from Day 1a. Impressive.
Kroon needs to be careful before he becomes today's version of Giorgio Medici, who went from 360,000 to busto in just an hour or two yesterday.
