The field is currently led by Charles-Eric Benoit who sits with an impressive 554,000. He is followed close behind by Sandy Lam with 548,000 and Jeffrey Cormier with 487,000.

A total of 320 players fired on one of the Day 1 flights. The 49 players remaining will all return in the money and have locked up a minimum cash of $800. They will all have their eye on the first place prize of $34,000, a handsome payday for a $600 buyin. The blinds will still be 30 minutes on Day 2 so expect the action to be fast and Loud.
