The 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year competition has kicked off its second year.

The Player of the Year race incorporates Seminole Hard Rock Poker tournament events during the Coco Open at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, the Seminole Hard Rock "Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open" (Nov. 13�CDec. 3, 2014) at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open (Jan. 22-Feb. 11, 2015) at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown (April 2-22, 2015) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, and the premier tournament of the Player of the Year race, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (August 2015) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

Angel Vu from Daytona Beach, Florida, won the title for 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Player of the Year.

Players will earn base points for participating in each event during a tournament series and will earn bonus points based on cash place finished, buy-in amount, and total number of entries. Points will be recorded and displayed for players to keep track of, and the Player of the Year winner will receive a prize package valued at over $35,800.

The winner's package features entries and casino-based incentives for Seminole Hard Rock Poker��s most prestigious poker events throughout the following year, including:

  • $2,500 entry into Coco Poker Open
  • $3,500 entry into Seminole Hard Rock "Rock 'N' Roll Poker Open" Championship
  • $3,500 entry into Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship
  • $3,500 entry into Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
  • $5,300 entry into Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship
  • $2,500 entry into a Seminole Hard Rock Championship event
  • $10,000 cash for entry into the Summer Main Event
  • $3,000 cash
