Final 24 Ready for $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship Day 3

Can Nathan Gamble add the $10,000 PLO8 title to the $1,500 PLO8 title he won in 2017?
Can Nathan Gamble add the $10,000 PLO8 title to the $1,500 PLO8 title he won in 2017?

Just 24 players remain in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, with plenty of big names still in the hunt for their first - or maybe another - WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the way is chip leader Michael McKenna, who is the only player with a seven-figure stack. Earlier this week McKenna made the final table of the $1,500 Razz and will be looking to hold on to his chip lead through the early stages of Day 3, with the prospect of another final table right around the corner.

Half of the players left in this event have won bracelets before. This includes last year's Player of the Year Chris Ferguson who won his sixth bracelet at the World Series of Poker Europe in Rozvadov last year. He took down the 1,650 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for 39,289, so already has experience of winning a WSOP bracelet in this format.

Nathan Gamble was chip leader in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better heading into the final day earlier this week. Gamble was the defending champion of that event, eventually finishing tenth.

With plenty of other big names including Michel Abecassis, Randy Ohel, Brandon Shack-Harris, David "ODB" Baker, Phil Galfond and Eli Elezra still in contention, stay tuned to PokerNews as we play down to a winner today.
