Botton Chips Up Further

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Brunno Botteon limped the small blind and Damian Salas checked his option in the big blind. The {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was checked and Botteon bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 700,000, Salas quickly got out of the way.

Botteon then min-raised the button to 800,000 and Manuel Ruivo stuck around in the big blind. The Portuguese checked the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and a bet worth 750,000 by Botton earned the next pot.

Botteon Takes Some From Salas

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Brunno Botteon limped the small blind and Damian Salas opted for a raise to 1.4 million, which Botton called after brief consideration.

Both players checked the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop and Botteon then led the {3-Spades} turn for 1.5 million with what appeared to be 5.8 million behind. That won the pot right there as Salas released his cards into the muck.

Ruivo Doubles Through Salas Once More

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Damian Salas Manuel Ruivo

Damian Salas open-shoved out of the small blind and Manuel Ruivo made the call for the last 4.4 million.

Manuel Ruivo: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Damian Salas: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop seemingly locked up the double for Ruivo but Salas had backdoor straight outs. One of those helpful cards came on the {a-Clubs} turn, however, the {q-Clubs} river further improved Ruivo and he scored the double with trips queens.

Botteon Jams Into Salas

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, both Brunno Botteon and Damian Salas invested 400,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Botteon then bet the {10-Clubs} turn for 1.1 million and Salas called.

The {q-Spades} fell on the river and Botteon moved all-in, sending Salas into the tank.

A reluctant fold followed and Salas admitted "you have a big heart".

It's All About Salas

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Damian Salas raised it up from the small blind and was called by Manuel Ruivo out of the big blind. They checked the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} flop and Salas then bet the {6-Spades} turn for 1.1 million, which won the pot right there for Salas.

In the next hand, Salas eyeballed the stack sizes of his two opponents and raised to 800,000 on the button. Two folds later, another million was sent to Salas as he added the blinds and big blind ante to his massive tower.

Ramon Miquel Munoz Eliminated in 4th Place ($498,947)

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Ramon Miquel Munoz
Ramon Miquel Munoz

As the first player to act, Ramon Miquel Munoz pushed for the last two blinds and Brunno Botteon inquired about the stack size of Manuel Ruivo. He then moved all-in over the top and that isolated successfully.

Ramon Miquel Munoz: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Brunno Botteon: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

As soon as the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop fell, Miquel Munoz vaulted out of his chair, in need of running cards for a miracle escape. It was all over after the {k-Spades} turn and the {a-Diamonds} river was too little too late for the Spaniard. Miquel Munoz has been eliminated in 4th place and takes home $498,947.

Damian Salas

Damian Salas raised to 800,000 and Manuel Ruivo jammed from the button as the second-shortest stack, which went through without a hitch.

Salas then received a walk and raised to 1.3 million out of the small blind when he had the chance to put pressure on Ruivo. No call followed and the chips were sent to the Argentinian.

Salas also raised the button to 1 million and that forced folds from Ruivo and Ramon Miquel Munoz out of the blinds with the latter dropping to just five blinds.

Salas Forces Fold From Ruivo

Level 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Ramon Miquel Munoz jammed up his stack to win the blinds and big blind ante.

Damian Salas then limped the small blind and Manuel Ruivo opted for a raise to 1,050,000 out of the big blind. Salas made the call and they headed to the {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. Salas checked and subsequently called a bet worth 600,000 by Ruivo.

Both players checked the {2-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} river brought a straight on the board.

"Can I see your stack?" Salas inquired and Ruivo moved away his hands to reveal what he had left behind. Salas then bet 2,300,000 and Ruivo folded.
