On Wednesday night, the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Event #21: $600 PLO 6-Handed attracted 281 players who rebought 270 times. The 1,551-entry field generated a $297,540 prize pool and after 11 hours of play, Florida native Bradley "drstrange7" Ruben captured a $61,148 top prize and his second gold bracelet.

Ruben, who is a professional poker player and real estate investor in the Sunshine State, cashed 11-times last year in the GGPoker portion of the WSOP online bracelet events for $288,376.

His best performance came from Event #62: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha when he claimed his first WSOP bracelet and an online best $220,160.

Final Table Action

Finale Table

With six players to start the final table, one of them had to be the first to fall and after a few levels went by that person was Dylan "thedogsofwar" Wilkerson. Wilkerson was heads-up against Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz after a queen-high flop and Wilkerson called off his stack with a pair of jacks. Wilkerson was ahead but Holtz turned a king to eliminate him in sixth place.

A few hands later, Holtz continued with another elimination after he turned two-pair to send Troy "troyrlee" Lee home in fifth place.

Ben "WhyIsGamora" Yu, along with Ruben, were the only two players at the final table who already had a WSOP bracelet to their name, but Yu's hope of securing another came up short after he failed to crack Ruben's queens and fell in fourth place.

With the final three players sitting fairly even, the action was slow for the first few levels until Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen decided to gamble and called off his stack on the turn holding the nut flush draw but was set up by Ruben in third place.

The heads-up battle saw Ruben hold the majority of the chips in play and he made quick work of Holtz to earn his second WSOP bracelet.

Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz Eliminated in 2nd Place ($42,816)

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz limped from the small blind, Bradley "drstrange7" Ruben raised to 300,000 from the big blind, Holtz three-bet to 900,000 and Ruben called.

The flop came all spades, the {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}. Action went check-check.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}. Ruben bet 1,800,000 which was easily covering Holtz who called it.

Ruben had the flush with the {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} while Holtz would need to find a full boat as he held the, {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

The but river was the {6-Spades} to secure the best hand for Ruben and eliminate Holtz in second place.

WSOP Legend: 3-Time Poker Players Championship Winner Michael Mizrachi

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

The World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC), which was created in 2006, is considered the tournament where the best of the best take on one another and duke it out in a variety of poker games, a reflection of all-around poker skill. Imagine playing the likes of Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu five days in a row in a short-handed mixed format.

Needless to say, the hefty price tag coupled with a small, elite field created a legacy for the PPC where champions are considered among the greatest overall poker players. A quick glance at its 14-year history shows nothing but greatness among champions, from John Hennigan to Mike Gorodinsky, and with the late David "Chip" Reese as perhaps the event's most fitting inaugural winner back in 2006.

Winning once is the poker professional's dream. Winning two? You're in a league of your own. But winning the toughest event with poker's best three times? Only one man achieved that improbable feat on this day back in 2018, after winning his first two titles in 2010 and 2012: Michael Mizrachi.

Ben "WhyIsGamora" Yu Eliminated in 4th Place ($18,656)

Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Ben "WhyIsGamora" Yu raised to 210,000 on the button and then called off his 526,314 stack after Bradley "drstrange7" Ruben three-bet to 660,000 from the big blind.

Ben "WhyIsGamora" Yu: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Bradley "drstrange7" Ruben: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

Yu was behind needing help and the {4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop gave him more outs with an open-ended straight draw.

Unfortunately for Yu, the outs he had never came as the {6-Hearts} turn and {2-Clubs} river ended his tournament in fourth place for $18,656.
