Welcome to Day 1c of Event #67: $10,000 No-Limit Hold��em Main Event Championship at the 2021 World Series of Poker. Cards go in the air at 11 a.m. PT and a large field is expected for the third starting flight of the WSOP's flagship event.

Two starting flights have concluded already and several legends of the game have punched their ticket to Day 2.

After 523 players sat down for the opening flight, Mustapha Kanit (363,500) grabbed the Day 1a chip lead with Rittie Chuaprasert (345,700) and Alex Livingston (319,200) not far behind. Poker Hall of Famers Billy Baxter (248,600), Doyle Brunson (151,000), and Tom McEvoy (96,900) also found a bag and will join the other 345 Day 1a survivors on Day 2ABC.

Joining them on the first Day 2 flight will be Day 1b chip leader Steve Foutty (287,000) who is followed by Matthew Traylor (279,500) and Maxime Canevet (277,000). Main Event specialist Ronnie Bardah (139,600) also guaranteed his spot to the next stage of the Main Event, along with Stephen Chidwick (124,900) and Kevin Gerhart (112,400). Day 1b had a total of 845 runners with 611 players claiming seats for Day 2.

Players on Day 1c will begin with 60,000 chips and play five two-hour levels with blinds starting at 100/200/200. There will be a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 3 around 5:40 p.m.
