Christopher Collier opened to 250,000 from the cutoff, but George Tomescu on the button three-bet to 555,000. The blinds folded, and after more than two minutes, Collier called.

The dealer fanned a flop of 9?4?9?, and Tomescu continued for 305,000. Collier check-called, and he check-called again for 560,000 on the 10? turn.

The 6? completed the board and Tomescu fired a third barrel of 800,000, almost his entire stack. Once again, Collier went into the tank for several minutes and eventually called. But his cards went into the muck when Tomescu flipped over K?9? for trips.

Nick Maimone raised to 240,000 from under the gun, and he was called by George Tomescu in middle position and Nicolas Vayssieres who defended from the big blind.

All three of them checked all the way through a board of K?8?8?7?.

On the 6? river, Vayssieres led out for 610,000 and was only called by Maimone with K?Q?. Vayssieres quickly revealed KxJx and sent his cards into the muck.
