Rast Gets Paid to Leave Cahn Short

Level 31 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Brian Rast opened to 1,250,000 on the button with Q?10?5?3? and Ethan Cahn defended in the big blind holding A?K?7?4?.

Action checked through the K?J?6? flop to the A? turn at which point Cahn checked again. Rast fired off 2,000,000, receiving a call from Cahn.

Cahn checked once more after the river came 8?. Rast went for big value by pushing 5,400,000 into the middle. That sent Cahn into the tank but, with top two and plenty of missed draws on the board, he was unable to find the fold and could only watch as the majority of his stack was shipped over to Rast.
