Marder Dodges Bullets; Busts Next Hand

Michael Marder opened 3,000 under the gun and Benjamin Pollak put in a three-bet to 7,000 from a couple of spots to his left. The action folded back around to Marder and he thought about it for a few moments before saving his remaining 13,000. Pollak let him know it was a good fold by flashing A?A?.
The following hand, Pollak opened 3,500 and Veerab Zakarian called in the cutoff before Marder defended the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of 6?5?4? and Marder jammed his last 8,000. Pollak quickly got out of the way and Zakarian snap-called.
Michael Marder: A?3?
Veerab Zakarian: 8?7?
Marder flopped an open-ended straight draw but Zakarian had already flopped the nut straight. The K? turn and 2? river improved him to a flush as Marder left the table.
