The player that had doubled Richard Pfeffer previously scored two miracle double ups in quick succession, with {6-}{4-} versus ace-king and {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} against the same hand, before Aneris Adomkevicius put an end to the comeback story. On the heads-up flop of {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Adomkevicius called the shove for 33,100 with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and was shown {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} only.

The {4-Spades} turn locked things up for the Lithuanian, making the {10-Clubs} river a formality. "I think he was tilt," Adomkevicius said in table chat while raking in the pot. Aleksandar Tomovic had been eliminated from the same table before.

Lars Kamphues shoved from late position and James Hoeppner called all in for 16,100 from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Kamphues only had {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}, and despite flopping best on {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Hoeppner got there with the {4-Hearts} turn and {2-Hearts} river to double his short stack and leave Kamphues on life support. The German lost the remaining few chips soon after.
