Martin Kabrhel Eliminated in 8th Place (3,825)
Tiberiu Tirca raised to 160,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.
Tirca then raised to 160,000 again the next hand. "You're on fire. This is a tough game, but it's the World Series of Poker so what do you expect," Martin Kabrhel said as he called in the big blind.
The flop came A?7?5? and Tirca bet 80,000. Kabrhel called and the J? fell on the turn. Tirca then moved all in.
"Bluff? Hippo smells bluff, but I don't trust him," Kabrhel said, hovering the hippo figurine he uses as a card protector over Tirca's hand.
The dealer counted out Tirca's bet as 1,040,000. "I don't have one-point-zero-four, that's my problem. Can I take it from my pocket, because I have a small flush. It's not a slowroll," Kabrhel said.
"Okay, I'll trust the hippo this time," he added as he eventually called for his last 500,000. Tirca turned over A?K? for top pair, while Kabrhel had J?10? for a pair and flush draw. The river was the 3? and Tirca took the pot to send Kabrhel to the rail in eighth place.
