In early August, Poker Night in America (PNIA) held its inaugural event at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. That stop featured a $1,650 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed Main Event and a $25/$50 no-limit holdem cash game, both of which PokerNews own Kristy Arnett played. Now, PNIA is heading west to the legendary Peppermill Reno Resort-Spa-Casino from November 15-24.

"All of us at Peppermill Reno are happy and proud to be the host site for the first Poker Night in America celebrity cash game and tournament ever held in the west," said George Kisler, Director of Casino Operations at the Peppermill Reno, which is fresh off a $400 million Tuscan-themed expansion. "Peppermill Reno has a long tradition of offering some of the best cash games in Nevada in one of the most luxurious poker rooms in the country and we remain committed to hosting only the most exciting events in poker. Poker Night in America will bring some of the biggest names to Peppermill Reno for 10 days of great tournament and live action games beginning on November 15th. We hope you will join us for the fun."

Poker Night in America presented by Peppermill Reno will feature a Main Event from November 21-24, though the buy-in for that tournament has yet to be determined. In addition, it will once again host an invite-only $25/$50 NLHE cash game. The buy-in for that game, which will be filmed over a two-day period, ranges from $5,000 (minimum) to $20,000 (maximum) and anyone interesting in playing should email PNIAs Nolan Dalla at [email protected].

At the first stop, several notables jumped in the action including Mike "the Mouth" Matusow, Eli Elezra, Gavin Smith, Shaun Deeb, Shaun Buchanan, Tom Schneider, Matt Glantz, Phil Laak, David Williams, Layne Flack, Greg Mueller, and several others. A similar star-studded lineup is expected at Peppermill Reno, with some new faces, as well.

"Thousands of people have seen video of some of the exciting things that happened last time Poker Night in America came to town," said Todd Anderson, the show's Executive Producer. "Next, we're all looking forward to moving on to the Peppermill in Reno and creating more memorable moments for television."

Poker Night in America released a video on Thursday, which PokerNews' own Rich Ryan discussed in his latest edition of Five Thoughts. and it features a few unfortunate hands with Matusow. In the first, Matusow gets stacked with queens against Schneiders aces, and in the second, he is slowrolled by Deeb, who flopped quads.

Caution is advised before watching. The Deebs slowroll is painful yet hilarious, while Matusow uses some very adult language:
