Terrence Chan Eliminated in 12th Place ($6,923)

Level 27 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Terrence Chan
Terrence Chan

Terrence Chan opened on the button and was called by Matt Vengrin in the small blind as well as Danny Tang in the big blind.

Vengrin and Chan both took one card on the first draw while Tang opted for three. Action then checked to Chan, who bet and was met by a raise from Vengrin. Tang made the call as did Chan to keep action three-handed heading to the second draw.

On the second draw, Vengrin stood pat. Meanwhile, Tang and Chan each took one, with Tang folding after Vengrin bet. Chan responded with a raise, leaving himself just a few chips behind. Vengrin reraised and Chan called off for his tournament life.

Vegrin patted the final draw but Chan decided to take one, turning over 7?3?2?, behind the K?6?5?3? of Vengrin. "It's red" said Chan as he peeled his fourth card. Though the right suit, the 7? was of no help to the at risk player, sending Chan to the rail in 12th place.
